An update on the Hybrid Connex pilot, in collaboration with the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust, showcased the seamless blending of 4G, 5G, and satellite connections. The future of connectivity
The BAPCO Annual Event was the perfect platform for us to showcase a diverse range of hybrid connectivity solutions. This included new advancements in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite technology, spotlighting a range of satellite antennas that provide persistent connectivity in both stationary and on-the-move scenarios.
Our leadership in Hybrid Connectivity was underscored by our innovative Hybrid Edge Appliance, seamlessly integrating LEO satellite technology and 4G/5G coverage to bolster resilience and deliver uninterrupted connectivity.
This showcase also included new advancements in cellular technology including our Excell 4G LTE Optimisation Antenna, which ensures reliable connectivity in challenging environments along with our Linx Hub Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot – an indispensable on-the-go solution for those operating remotely.
Real-time video streaming
Visitors to our stand got a first-hand look at our full range of real-time surveillance solutions including our live streaming body-worn camera which currently has applications spanning policing, security, and emergency response.
Drone teams were treated to the Fotokite tethered drone system, which can deliver an unobstructed aerial view within minutes. Additionally, our UAV Streamer took centre stage, demonstrating its capability to securely live stream drone footage securely to any authorised location.
The Rapid Deploy Camera was also well received, showcasing its swift setup and remote access capabilities for responders, ensuring effective and safe responses to emergencies.
