Join us at stand J130 and discover how ubiquitous connectivity is changing the way we work, manage, and respond. Whether you’re interested in the very latest emerging technologies or are exploring ways to enhance remote communications, you won’t want to miss this! The show is free to attend, and our team will be on hand to offer practical advice, innovative thinking, and great hospitality.

From space to the front line

Low earth orbit (LEO) satellite technology is a game-changer, offering reliable, high-speed communication without relying on traditional infrastructure. This is crucial, especially during an emergency when terrestrial networks are prone to being overwhelmed or if an incident occurs in a remote location where coverage is patchy or unavailable – satellite can be the lifeline. We will be joined by our partners OneWeb who are closing the connectivity gap by providing high-speed, low latency connectivity globally.

Hybrid connectivity

With the rise of LEO satellite technology and 4G/5G coverage, access to hybrid connectivity is becoming ever more crucial for effective communications in remote locations. Excelerate leads the way by developing innovative technologies that can harness the power of multiple different networks.

Our latest Innovation, the Hybrid Edge Appliance, leverages all available satellite and cellular networks for added resilience and seamless connectivity. The solution combines bandwidth for enhanced performance and coverage. Alternatively, you can opt for the most cost-effective network, putting you in control.

Optimal cellular performance

Driving Resilience: Connected Vehicle Zone

The Connected Vehicle Zone will be a major highlight at this year’s show. Visitors will have the opportunity to witness first-hand how advanced communication networks, technology innovation, and collaboration are bringing about transformative changes across police, fire, and ambulance services.

Not to be missed: the new Incident Command Unit (ICU) of Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service (HIWFRS) will be unveiled at the show. The ICU provides a reliable and secure communication platform between firefighters, incident commanders, and other co-responding agencies. The vehicle is equipped with an array of hybrid communications including satellite, which is unaffected by geographical limitations and ensures that emergency responders always remain connected.

Joining the showcase is the Northamptonshire Joint Operations Team, demonstrating their connected vehicles which have become a crucial aspect of their digital fleet strategy. Drawing from the experiences gained in designing and developing their Joint Command Unit (JCU), Northamptonshire has successfully leveraged connectivity to drive innovation in their smart fire appliances. This includes a state-of-the-art, turntable ladder aerial appliance which will be live streaming from the Emergency One stand.

In addition to providing specialist vehicles for the emergency services, Excelerate’s vehicle-based technologies have been successfully deployed in many other sectors including transport, oil and gas, and energy. This diversification is a testament to the versatility and scalability of these solutions making this exhibit a must-see for all visitors.

To learn more about these ground-breaking solutions, be sure to visit the Connect Vehicle Zone sponsored by Excelerate (Stand OS140) at the Emergency Services Show.
