A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at the Emergency Tech & Services Show at the NEC, Birmingham Our team had a fantastic time connecting with new and existing faces.

We hope you gained value in meeting with our team and customers to share the innovation and progress being made to transform operations within your sector.

#CONNECTYOURWORLD and enable your teams access to critical applications.

Not just plugging the gaps – connectivity for everyday applications

Visitors to our Tech Zone had the chance to get hands-on with a range of LEO satellite antennas and service options, all of which deliver high-speed, reliable connectivity even in the most isolated regions. From Starlink to Eutelsat OneWeb and everything in between our team can #connectyourworld.

Also on demo was the Hybrid Edge Appliance. A game-changing tool that bonds networks together enhancing access to digital applications, ensuring first responders stay connected wherever they are, no matter the circumstances.

Say hello to UNETY

Officially launched at this year’s event, UNETY is a revolutionary advanced network that seamlessly integrates multi-orbit, multi-band satellite, cellular technology, and a robust fibre backbone with strategically placed points of presence. By doing so, UNETY ensures unmatched reliability and performance, anywhere in the world, and its potential impact on emergency response and public safety operations cannot be overstated.

More than a thousand words! It’s situational awareness technology

Our secure live streaming solutions, from body-worn cameras to the UAV Streamer provide real-time insights and enhance situational awareness across a diverse range of applications. These technology tools are already making a difference to the adoption of digital transformation projects & operational advancements within healthcare, public safety and emergency response.

Connect your Fleet: From Command Support for Hampshire & Isle of wight through to EDF Energy’s Deployable Resilience Response.

The Connected Vehicle Zone showcased EDF’s resilient deployable communications equipment, featuring a high-spec trailer and gave visitors valuable insight into robust mobile connectivity solutions. This trailer, one of nine bespoke, purpose-built 3,500kg units, is equipped with state-of-the-art deployable technology designed to ensure continuous and reliable communication and situational awareness even during power outages as demonstrated during the recent ‘Might Oak Exercise’, reinforcing EDF’s commitment to resilience and operational continuity.

Visitors also got to step inside the new incident command unit for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service. The unit, is a second for the service providing command support Visitors praised its design, functionality, and the seamless integration of cutting-edge communications technology.

Our partners from the SATCAV (Satellite Connected and Autonomous Vehicle) project, brought along a range of robotics—all operating on our independent private network right on the stand. This live demonstration showcased how resilient and reliable connectivity is the backbone of many future applications, including the running of autonomous vehicles. The success of this demonstration reinforced the importance of robust networks in the operation of cutting-edge autonomous technologies. We look forward to sharing more information about this soon!

We would like to thank EDF, our partners at SATCAV, and Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue for supporting the emergency services community in showcasing heir technologies, applications and solutions and transferring the knowledge from their Integrated technology design, build & implementation program.

Looking Forward to the future of Emerging Tech
