NETWORK SERVICES
Our fully managed Enhanced Resilience Satellite Network comprises of two satellites connected via two seamlessly interconnecting and resilient teleports within the UK. Each covers the same geographical area and uses the same technology platform meaning that if one should fail, customers can be instantly moved onto the second network ensuring that the connection is never compromised.
Each teleport is interconnected on a fully redundant fibre optic ring, where Excelerate hosts its own fully redundant racks identically populating its individual customers VPN end points, video servers and cloud computing services, meaning that our customers’ applications and communications are always operational with fast failover.
This infrastructure creates our private cloud, enabling the resilient hosting of our fully managed services, including:
• The KU Enhanced Resilience Satellite
• Airtime
• ExStream Video Streaming
• Databox
In addition, customers can choose to host their own cloud services or third-party applications that would benefit from being hosted within the Enhanced Resilience Network Architecture.
